Intro To Horses & Riding Course

We’re excited to offer a new program beginning in May! Intro to Horses & Riding is an 8 week course that will be held in a small group environment and has specifically been designed to teach the basics of horse handling, horse care and riding. Get your child started right! Students who graduate from this program will learn the necessary skills to move up the levels.

Dates will be posted soon! The course will be held from May to June.

* Due to very limited private classes available, this course will be offered to children under 18 wanting to join our program. Riders can join mid-program if there is availability (in which case the course will be prorated).

Mommy & Me Horse Experience

(Dads, Grandparents, or Friends too!)

Our new Mommy & Me Horse Experience class is designed for little kids (ages 3 to 5) to learn about and experience horses up close with an adult chaperone. This is a group experience so please bring some friends!

This class is $40 per couple and typically runs anywhere from 1 to 2 hours, depending on attendance. Custom options are available.

See our online scheduling program for availability or feel free to email us to reserve a date. Please note, payments are non-refundable unless the class is canceled by Canyon Lake Farm.

CLF Horse Parties

Party Space | $425

Enjoy your party in a tree covered picnic area with views of the hills and horse facilities. We have picnic benches and other tables and chairs available for use. Price includes rides for up to six people. There is an extra $30 charge for each additional guest (12 person maximum).

Horse Intro & Ride | (included)

Get a detailed introduction to horses from a professional horsewoman, plus short rides for the birthday patron and their party guests (kids only, no parents).

Photo Session | +$40

Bring your cameras! Get a photo session with one or more of our beautiful horses! Horses will be decorated for you and your photographer can snap away!

Paint The Horses | +$40

Decorate one or more of our wonderful horses! We supply the canvas and paint – you do the rest!

Meet Billy & Bob | +$40

Meet our beloved goats, Billy and Bob! They are very friendly and love treats! We’ll supply their treats and your party guests will get a kick out of their wonderful personalities!

Group Skills Clinic

We invite you to join our new group horse introductory class, offered on select Wednesdays and Saturdays! Learn about horses, get hands-on horse experience, basic riding and unmounted skills taught. This is also a great way to get introduced to horses and learn some ground work skills.

This class is included in both our Red and Gold Memberships in addition to riding lessons. Class is $50 for all others.
